Kaypee Baby Nursing and Maternity Wear

Mommy confession- I did not own a nursing outfit nor a nursing bra until my firstborn was more than a year old.  I don't know how I was able to manage pumping in the office.  Nor breastfeeding every time we were out of the house.  I could have made it a better experience if I invested in nursing essentials back then.  That time, I assumed nursing wear was too expensive and thus it would be impractical to replace my wardrobe.  Apparently, there are affordable choices in the market.  At the same time, they are stylish and modern.  One of them is Kaypee Baby.  Their breastfeeding clothes have up to date designs and some would not even guess they are meant for nursing our little ones.  Thanks to the mompreneur who founded Kaypee Baby, moms can breastfeed comfortably, discreetly, and fashionably.  Ordering from Kaypee Baby's site is easy breezy.  I was eyeing the blue version of this Vesta overlap dress but it was already sold out.  Hope they restock soon.  But anyw

Explore in Style With Meet My Feet

My firstborn has started to develop her sense of style.  She knows what she wants and she lets her momma know.  And I could not be happier,   even though her fashion choices may not be something that I am used to- like a floral on floral ensemble or print on print.  I posted one of her OOTD's before on The Momma Club's Instagram. Below was the caption. "I let her choose her clothes.  She picked the floral leggings first.  Then I got a plain shirt and suggested that she wear it.  No momma, I want this, she said.  In my mind- floral on floral?  Plus it's a dress, not a blouse!  I didn't say these out loud.  Instead, I asked her again-  Are you sure?  Then I realized, who am I to dictate or decide what's beautiful or not, what is fashionable or not.  Why will I mold her into a Mini Me.  I should just let her be." I would love it very much if my daughter gets to express herself freely through fashion even as she grows older.  After all, our fashion st

EDUCATING FOR LIFE AND SMX CONVENTION CENTER PRESENT THE “ON FIRE!” PHILIPPINE HOMESCHOOL CONVENTION 2018

Educating for Life or EFL, a group composed of four homeschooling moms, organizes events for homeschoolers and other individuals or groups that are into homeschooling and what we like to call "intentional education." EFL has been organizing events for families—homeschoolers, in particular—since 2014. This year, Educating for Life (EFL) and SMX Convention Center, SM Aura Premier are pleased to invite you to the 2018 Philippine Homeschool Convention (PHC).  This is different from but similar to previous events we have handled, particularly the Philippine Homeschool Conferences. Thus, this is the first time we will be having a Convention like this. The Convention, with the theme “On Fire!”, draws its inspiration from the quotation commonly attributed to the poet William Yeats, but is said to originate from Greek biographer and essayist Plutarch’s original words that say, “The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled.” As homeschoolers, we believe th

Sacred Elements Jewelry: Time Capsule of a Mom's Cherished Moments

Yesterday, I was reminded how time really flies.  A video of my firstborn from two years ago popped up on my social media feed- her chubby cheeks and a section of her thin hair tied in a pink hairclip.  She was sitting on our bed, babbling Bah and sucking her hand alternately.  I think Bah stood for 1 and the other Bah stood for 2.  My little one was trying her best to count and I am glad momma was able to capture that moment.  I take a LOT of videos and pictures of my girls that I have to free up my phone memory every now and then.  My husband thinks it's too much.  But I always feel that I am not taking enough photos. Now that I have two children, I take even more pictures than before.  I want to remember the days and this period in our lives, when I am my children's world.  And they are mine.  I would like to be reminded of my journey as a mom.  Mommy brain is for real and the pictures would help in case the memories get blurry somewhere down the road. Indeed, the days a

My Little One is Finally a Schoolgirl

Since late 2016, I have started looking into schools for my little girl.  She attended trial classes with three different schools in Makati that year.  Then last year, I was already planning to enroll her in one of the schools where she had a trial class.  But then we decided to postpone as we were not sure yet if we would be moving to a new place. When we had finally settled to our new place in the southern Metro, the topic of Arya’s schooling came up again.  I had my hesitations as I was also considering homeschooling her.  I also feared that her going to school would mean she would be more prone to catching viruses or illnesses.  And even if it’s just a cold or cough, it would be terrible if my newborn (my second child) would get sick too.  Babies are so frail and vulnerable after all. My husband was more decided to enroll her this schoolyear.  Meanwhile, I was thinking we could delay it until she is 5 years old.  Despite my hesitation, I still inquired with different schools an
