For Camille, Love Comes Naturally

Germany's best mom-and-baby skincare brand comes to the Philippines, chooses Philippine celebrity sweetheart as new ambassador Last Wednesday, The Momma Club was invited to the Baby Shower and Brand Ambassador Reveal of Sanosan PH held in Ibiza Beach Club in BGC.  And the ambassador is no other than  talk-show host and celebrity mom Camille Prats-Yambao.  She credits her h ealthy, glowing to having a healthy diet and of course to Sanosan products.    Created by Mann & Schröder, a German company with over 60 years of experience developing high-quality skin and hair care products — Sanosan's skincare solutions are effective because they are based on two pure and natural ingredients: olive oil and hydrolyzed milk protein. Family Goals

Having a young family of three, I was excited to get my copy of Family Goals, Embracing the Imperfections of Family Life by Ms. Michele Alignay.  Just the same with our health, prevention is better than cure when it comes to our relationships.  I was interested to read this book because I thought it could help prevent issues and other problems in our family; it is better to be enlightened and prepared than wait for things to go wrong, right?   And wouldn't it be nice to read the advice of someone who is an expert in family life?  Ms. Michelle, or Ichel, is a registered psychologist and a registered guidance counselor.  Not only that, she is also a speaker and a columnist of Kerygma magazine. Tell you what, I was not wrong about this book.  It really is full of wisdom, and as I browsed through the pages, I was amazed by Ichel's expertise on the subject.  At the same time, even though the topic was serious, she wrote it in an engaging manner, without forgetting to inject so

Mommy Issues

Mommy Issues One of my favorite episodes of HIMYM was when Lily realized that she married someone like her dad.  Barney's brother, James, made Barney realize that Nora is too much like their mom.  Marshal realized that Lily and his dad were very much alike.  Robin's therapist boyfriend agreed that we date someone who reminds us of our parents. Do we really choose someone like our mother/father?  A man chooses a wife who has similar traits with his mom.  A woman chooses a husband who has the same characteristics and personality  as her dad. I asked my good friend if she saw any similarity between his dad and husband.  In her case, there was none. On her husband's end, he has told her many times that she and his mom are so alike. I know that for some wives, this is not a compliment, but instead of being bothered, my friend was delighted with this idea because she likes her mother in law. It just got me thinking, most wives and mothers-in-law are at war

Grand Launch of Nail It Salon Vertis North

Last July 1, we attended the Grand Launch of Nail It Salon, Vertis North Branch.   We were warmly welcomed by Ms. Myrna Dela Rama, Nail It Salon's Operations Manager.   With Ms. Lot Zerrudo-Matulac, the franchisee of Nail It Vertis North branch (middle) and Ms. Myrna Dela Rama, Operations Manager of Nail It Salon. Nail It Salon stays true to its promise of Affordable Luxury.  They are consistent in their  quality.  I like Nail It because I know that I am paying more than my money's worth for their services.  The equipment are sanitized.  The nail technicians are polite. The interiors of purple and white never fail to exude a sophisticated and relaxing vibe. We were treated to a sumptuous lunch. Nail It Salon also offers spa party packages both for kids and adults.  In fact, The Momma Club, a group that I co-founded, held our spa party in their Valero branch.  The moms who attended found the branch and the staff impressive.   Nail It Salon

Zany antics, love and missteps are better with friends! , LEGO Friends is a product range of the Lego construction toy designed primarily for girls.
