Vision Board Party 2018

I spent my Saturday afternoon attending the Vision Board Party hosted by Trixie Esguerra. And I'm so glad I did. How did Trixie Esguerra become a Vision Board Coach? She shared that five years ago she was happy with her life; however, she felt it was not enough and that she was not excited enough. Trixie realized that for her to be truly happy, she needed to know what she is here on earth for.

Do you want to be happy? Then you need to ask yourself what you want in terms of your business, relationships, and other aspects of your life. You need to envision the life that you deserve. What's the greatest vision that you have?

As per Trixie, a Vision Board is a board where you put your visions, and what you want to achieve in your life. On a vision board, you will see priorities and words of affirmation. It is a powerful tool that can help you achieve your dreams.

To illustrate the power of vision boards, Trixie cited some famous and successful personalities who had their own vision boards. Among those mentioned were Katy Perry, Jim Carrey, Steve Harvey, and Walt Disney.

Trixie also shared her own personal experiences. She related her successful stories with Vision Boarding. And she said it can happen to anyone. Half of the things she included in her vision board already came true. Wow!

Even if you only have three pictures on your vision board, it is fine as long as those three pictures speak to you. Some of the dreams and goals that you included in your board may not be realized immediately, but you should always believe that the universe has a perfect timing.

Simply having a Vision Board is not enough. How does a Vision Board work for you? You must have the DESIRE. Whatever you put in your vision board, make sure you want it that bad. BELIEVE. Do you believe that in your lifetime, you can achieve those goals and dreams? ACCEPT. Are you one of those people who are not open to receiving blessings? If yes, this needs to change.

"If your vision is clear, you're gonna have it," Trixie stated. Remember that God gave you that vision for a reason. The moment you doubt yourself- that's the time the universe doubts you also.

We were given an hour to create our vision boards. Some of the participants were couples, and Trixie recommended that each partner make his/her own vision board. We were divided into small groups wherein everyone was asked to share and talk about his vision board for a few minutes.

At the workshop, there was a part when we were asked to close our eyes and relax. With our eyes closed, we imagined ourselves after a year- having better relationships with the Lord, having healthier bodies, earning more, getting ourselves a much-deserved vacation, and most of all, in our happiest.

All workshop attendees went home with a prize. I felt blessed that I was able to join the event. Because finally, after years of planning to make one, I now have my own Vision Board. Surprisingly, I enjoyed making it with other people around. I found it interesting as well to catch a glimpse of other people's dreams and aspirations.
