Those Days

It's common knowledge that women become irritable whenever they get their menses. Mood swings are to be expected especially those days leading to and during their period. As for myself, I find it hard to function before my period. However, as a mom, I must try my best to keep it together and to not let my period get in the way of my chores and to-do-list. Did you know that women only lose around 80ml of blood during menstruation? To be honest, it doesn't feel like it's only that amount. Maybe because I feel drained and my energy is low whenever I am menstruating. Once I feel that my stress and anxiety have heightened up during that time of the month, I try to cope with it by spending more quality time with my kids. Hugging them and playing with them can do wonders for my well-being. It helps that I don't have to worry about heavy periods because Those Days sanitary napkins keep me fresh and clean. During my period, there's the Wing variant that ca...

Pure Beauty x Watsons Philippines, Urban Shield Line: Going Beyond Limits with Nature’s Best Barrier

It can be quite a challenge to take great care of your skin when you’re a Filipina on the go. Up to 98% of us are exposed to and are affected by the city’s harmful elements and heavy pollution on a daily basis. Whether you’re on your way to work or running around the city for errands, you’re constantly exposed to dirt, grime, sweat, and sun damage. These irritants can stress out your skin, causing it to look dull and tired. Dust trapped in sweaty pores can cause you to break out and the harsh rays from the sun can cause oxidative damage, which result to your skin losing these protective cells that keep it looking young, fresh, soft, and supple. At the launch of Pure Beauty Urban Shield It is never too early to start thinking of ways to protect your skin. The best way to do so is by using products that can really nourish and protect from the inside out, before the worst damage happens. It is for these reasons that Watsons Philippines is so excited to announce the ...

Mompreneur Meet Up: Start Up Mompreneurship by Mommy Mundo

I learned a lot from Mommy Mundo's Mompreneur Meetup held last February 25 at Aracama, BGC.  That morning, the room was full of mompreneur hopefuls and mompreneurs-to-be.  The vibe was definitely inspiring!  As Ms. Janice Villanueva, founder of Mommy Mundo, narrated her mompreneur journey and how Mommy Mundo started, I could not help but be in awe of how she and her team have come this far (they are now on their 10th year). I want to share the lessons imparted by Ms. Janice. 1.  Happy wives mean happy families. I'm sure you are all familiar with the phrase "Happy wife, happy life."  This is basically it.  It means that we mother should prioritize our happiness so we can also spread joy and positivity to our family and to people around us. 2.  Moms are problem solvers. A lot of smart products have been invented by moms as we mothers always want to fix problems, whether big or small.  So for us aspiring mompreneurs, perhaps we can start b...
