The Mommily App

We moms have a lot of things in our head and our plates are full most of the time.  That's why we are always in the lookout for products or things that can make lives easier for us.

During those times when we are already frazzled,  even the simplest tasks like trying to figure out where the breastfeeding station is, can increase our stress level.  I know you have seen a mom who looks lost trying to figure out where to go, especially a mom who is alone and by herself.  And it's understandable how the situation can be overwhelming for her- just imagine that you have a baby in tow who won't stop crying while you try your best to finish your errands.  Plus strangers throw you a questioning look- why can't this lady make her baby stop crying?  Who wouldn't be rattled, right?

Parenting or mommy mobile apps can be lifesavers.  It's a good thing that a Filipino mommy thought of an app for Filipino moms.  

What is Mommily?  "Mommily is an app that encourages all parents, especially moms to bond with their kids even outside the home by being smart, user-friendly, and giving them the information they need about mom and baby facilities to help them have a stress-free day out with their kids."

Downloading the app and signing up was fast and easy.  I was able to use and check the app immediately.  Navigating the app was not a problem also - the interface was user-friendly.

Don't forget to turn on your location so you can start using the app.

The Mommily app provides a list of these things.  Yes, we have Google but sometimes we still need to pick among the different search engine results.  With Mommily, we know that the information are updated and verified.  

You can find the nearest baby changing station with the Mommily app.  As well as breastfeeding stations, playgrounds, and baby needs stores.

The social media accounts of Mommily are one click away in their mobile app. 

In the profile section, we can earn our badges.  This feature of the app I have to explore further.  

And of course, there is a map included in the app.  On the main menu, you can access it at the upper right corner of the screen.   It's not surprising that the most pins come from 

Other Lifestyle Needs category.

I will definitely use this app again, because I know it will help me face my day readily, gracefully, and strategically.
