Social media has connected people from different parts of the world.   We can collaborate, share ideas, and tell our stories to moms who we haven’t even met face to face.   We are able to relate to moms and empathize with them even if we haven’t seen them in person.   Some of the friendships we have now might have started from Facebook and Instagram.   We may meet or discover a person online, but it does not mean that these interactions are devoid of emotions.   When we invest a great deal of our time on our online activities and correspondences, it is not unlikely that there will be an attachment to people we talk to. Modern technology does not have to take away the human experience.   As for me, I don’t see it that way.   In fact, because of technology and social media, I am able to be a part of this magazine as a contributor even though I am on the other side of the world.   There is a sense of connection with other moms from the publication as I feel like I have a glimpse o
