If you always cook pasta, a clip-on strainer is good to have. I find it easy to clean. It can be tossed in the dishwasher.

I have only used it when straining pasta, noodles. Also good for fruits, veggies, ground beef, etc.
Food can still spill if the amount of food is too much and if you tilt the pan too strongly.
